1 | ever neccessary/permissable to deceit? | Luke 24:31 | Morant61 | 79750 | ||
Greetings Radioman! Good summary my friend! I purposely left my previous post void of any personal comments! :-) Now, my opinion is simply this: We are not obligated to tell anyone anything, but what we do say had better be truthful. So, in some of the situations listed previously, I would either tell the truth or refuse to answer. Both options would be honest. I think the difference for Christians is that we should trust God to provide even if the truth could be harmful or dangerous. I can't think of any situation that God could not get me out of without my practice of deceit. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Greetings Radioman2! I would say no! We are obligated to tell them anything. It would be just like if you asked me personal questions about me or my family. If I answer, I had better answer truthfully. Or, I can say, 'None of your business'! :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
