Tim Do you know what saddens me? Is when I respond to a post and there's ALWAY'S this group of four or five individuals who want to twist the LIVING WORD OF GOD! Time and time again it happens. You say for the benefit of all of us on the forum? I'm starting to believe that these individuals own this forum. However, Like I mentioned in one of my post, is that I'm truly sorry that they don't know any better. Didn't Jesus turn and say to Peter "get thee behind me Satan." Didn't Jesus love Peter? I wasn't being hateful, I was being truthful. I don't put no limits on OUR God. I believe that the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. And that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. I give no glory to God when my body is sick or diseased. I stand firm on God's word because He has healed me, Praise God!!! Whatever happened to the "signs and wonders" following? Or "you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover?" Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it. We serve an Awesome God, who is still in the business of Healing. Proverbs 11:25 |

Greetings Heisthe1! Thanks for your response my friend! What I'm hoping to see on this forum is speech 'seasoned with grace'. It is entirely possible to disagree with others without being disagreeable. Again, I'm not just addressing this to you my friend. I have seen so many 'short' and 'harsh' answers. I have seen so many angry responses. Something that always helps me to keep calm is to realize that God doesn't need my help to defend His truth. I think sometimes that we get too personally involved in our discussions and debates. When we do, we lash out at others out of hurt pride. I hope everyone on the forum will take a deep breath before responding and make sure that we put 'others first' (Phil. 2:3). Now, on to the issue of healing. I believe that God heals, but I do not believe that healing is guaranteed in the atonement. I haven't read all of your posts on this issue my friend, so if you don't mind, would you lay out your case for saying that God always heals? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
