Bible Note: I wish I could narrow it down to one, but I cannot. I think one word could cover everything...LOVE. What makes it difficult, is that even those of the world love.(Luke 6) The depth of LOVE when we beign to experience love from the Lord covers every aspect of life. Our thoughts, actions, habbits, what, who, where; it,love, is consuming. When we act outside of the experience of His Love and we give way to our flesh we realize more and more our NEED for HIM. Paul discusses this battle, and when I first began to study, I did not understand what he meant, and I am not sure I fully do today, but I do feel like I have experienced the struggle. I could list all types of things I have learned that are applicable, logical, and even awesome topics for discussion, but once they have been examined the common denominator will be LOVE. I know it use to anger me when I would hear people talk about the God of anger in the OT and the God of love in the NT. (those who believe the NT is the only one that matters) This would bother me because I do not believe God enjoyed destroying Sodom and Gomorah or drowning the earth or the death one human in battle. If we are going to accept ALL Scripture as beneficial(2 Timothy 3), we need to see that He did give chance after chance, discipline after discipline(or as I like to explain to my teenage daughter"grounding after grounding"). These were all in love. It was and is the human free will that chose and still chooses these measures of detruction. (Habakkuk 2:12-14) The justness of God would be a lie if He did not enforce His expectations. Love would be incomplete if it were not just, and the Lord is NOT in-complete. My rambling may seem child like and I am sorry if my response is not as deep or theoretical as a response some of the other people on this forum may give you, but my approach to Bible study is child like. I am HIS child, and while I do learn from the words and examples of people, the TRUTH I learn is from the Holy Spirit.
