Subject: Is the NWT more reliable than the NASB? |
Bible Note: The only real challange I see in here is the classic John 17:3. The Greek word often translated "know" is actually ginwskwsin. Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testiment Words addresses this topic completely: "A-1,Verb,1097,ginosko signifies "to be taking in knowledge, to come to know, recognize, understand," or "to understand completely,"" I will not waste my time in the other points, as they are obviously compiled by a person unframiliar with the Greek language. |
