Bible Note: I answered you in the other note, but I'll say it here, too. No where in the Scripture does it say that the pastor must go and never preach again. Nowhere. And if he is truly repentent and has been forgiven, then he has a testimony that will serve to teach others to avoid the pitfalls and traps that ensnared him. That is valuable teaching. No one would be served by preventing it but the devil, and anything that confounds him to it I say, Amen! And sin is sin. Repentance brings forgiveness for all of it or none of it. You want to live by the Law, that's your choice, but I don't want any of it. I'll take forgiveness and Grace. |
