Bible Note: Good Afternoon Brother John! I am still not quite sure at what point a leader should be removed, especially given the scenario you gave in your post (What if he falls again, is the process then repeated). I am trying to study the passage Kalos posted earlier (I Cor 5). Your statement “Even if the fallen Pastor repents, Why should'nt he be removed from his leadership position?” is what made me think of David. And as Kalos pointed out, David repented. Now I’m not saying that this particular pastor should remain if he has repented. I was just posting my thought process and not attempting to answer your question. Abba Father bless… Meredith |
