Subject: Church is kidnapped to Sodom! |
Bible Note: Dear John, Hong Kong is different from USA. Churches are very near to one another. We can attend more than four churches per day in Hong Kong. We have membership in the mother church, but recently we join the worship and fellowship for another church because we don't like the chief pastor in our mother church. If a church has so much sexual sin and gossip that cannot be solved for so many years, there must be problem structurally. That all I can expose to you. I don't want to give too much judgment in this issue. Think about the below: 1. Preventive action is always better than corrective action. Will you go to bible daily or only when there is problem and test? 2. It is wrong for a seminary to concentrate only on academic without concern about the spiritual life of their student. 3. Study bible cannot make us holy. 4. Are we using God's word to satisfy ourselves rather using ourselves to follow God's word? I use Psalm 50:16-23 to describe the pastor sin in sex. |
