Subject: God allowing things in our lives |
Bible Note: Did Christ bring His pain and suffering for you upon Himself? Did not God let it happen because it was His will? Or is Scripture wrong? If I’m not mistaken, He uttered something like this: “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].” Matthew 26:39 As God willed!!! Now tell me just who is our Savior referring to as being in full control? Tell me why you think God would have His only begotten Son to suffer? Could He not have put an end to it at any time? He could have, but because of His love for you He did not. So to use your argument: “Why do you blame God when all Pharoah had to do was be obedient?” Wasn’t Christ obedient? Kind of puts that to rest now doesn’t it? Stand in His grace, WOS |
