AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God's will, both publicly and privately--behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; |
Subject: God allowing things in our lives |
Bible Note: So you can die in sin and still recieve eternal life? What if they had died while comitting adultery, or comitting murder? If I were to run out and comitt murder, do you believe there is a chance God would kill me and bring me into heaven with him? Ok and for your first reference, would the man have died, had he obeyed God? I am simply trying to point out, that God said you will die if you touch this in a certain way. When it was touched and the man died, that was simply God's Word coming to pass. Just like God telling us that if we die a sinner, we will end up in Hell, that is our choice to make, God doesn't make that choice for us. They had the choice to obey God and live, or disobey him and die. It wasn't that God wanted it to happen, but it did. But where does the scriptures show us how God corrects us? Through being a thief? Or do we believe the Word that says in 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: The Word is used to correct us. |
