Bible Note: Oscar: I appreciate you and honestly have no wish to be quarrelsome. If I have given offense, I apologize. I think what we have here is a failure to communicate. :-) You write: "I respect the fact that you consider Saturday a day of Preparation, that is your decision. But the point is not that you are wrong, but that the day of Preparation (biblically is Friday). I agree that the day of the Lord is the Sunday, but do you agree that the Sabbath is Saturday?" In my previous postings I have said over and over and over and over again that the Sabbath is Saturday. I don't know how I could be any clearer or plainer. I am not the one who said Saturday is the day of preparation. Did you not see that I was quoting Charis who said, "I, personally, consider Saturday to be a day of thanksgiving and preparation, but *Sunday is His day*." I admit that in that post I was kind of fuzzy in my use of quotation marks. I can see where that would cause confusion. For the 40th time: Saturday is the Sabbath. The Sabbath never was changed to Sunday. I don't know how I can make it any plainer. Grace to you, kalos |
