AMPLIFIED 2015 | Colossians 2:16 ¶ Therefore let no one judge you in regard to food and drink or in regard to [the observance of] a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day. |
Bible Question: So ... are we free to violate the fourth commandment alone and not rest? If YOU change the day to Sunday - do you keep it holy or make it a holiday? I presume you are guilty. |
Bible Answer: Our Lord Jesus Christ changed the day, for he was ressurected on a sunday in order to fulfill the sacrificial lamb of the passover, since then we enter into his rest, knowing that our work is completed in him, this is truly rest. If you go to church on saturday praise god, if you do it not because of the law ,for if you do then fulfill the whole law, which means that you cannot start your car to go to church, for you are creating a flame,which is not allowed on the sabbeth. in the new testament the Lords day refered to in scripture is in deed sunday for it came to mean the lords day for that reason. love in Christ RCSCROLL REV 1:10 |
