Bible Note: Without rehashing the whole debate again, let me point out that Calvinist and Arminians both hold that "Christ provided salvation for all that would believe." I don't think that Lionstrong meant that non-believers are punished twice. The point he is trying to make is that, under the Arminian view, Christ paid for our sins AND non-believers in Christ will also pay for them in hell. The injustice that the Calvinist sees is not that the sinner will pay for the sins twice, but rather that two people will have paid for the SAME sins: Christ and the non-Christian. --Joe! |
