Bible Question:
2nd samuel 22, Heb.13:15 This verse addresses our praise to God in worship. Among the gifts that are mentioned in 1 Cor. that you all refer to, this gift seem to be missing in the list, why? 1Cor. 14:15 what can you say to this verse? Finally in 1 Cor.12:28-31 Paul seem to have forgotten something in his order of things, playing instruments? |
Bible Answer: Dear Grace and Truth, So you go back to the old "arguing from silence" approach? Because it doesn't say it in a CERTAIN VERSE you pick out, we shouldn't do it, right? You seem more intent on the 'logos' word, rather than the 'rhema' word. I have shown you time and again verses IN THE BIBLE, which show God's APPROVAL for playing instruments. Yet, on a consistent basis, you avoid answering the verses I give you. I have even posted the Strong's definitions. Yet all we get from you is your opinion on certain passages, with nothing to back it up!! Why? What are you afraid of? Also, Paul was not the only apostle to have a Book included in the Bible, and yet he seems to be the only one you quote. For your infromation, James, Peter(twice), John(FIVE--COUNT 'EM--FIVE TIMES) and others have had epistles, Gospels, and prophetic books included in the Holy Word of God. Why do you ignore them? I do not mean to sound bitter, but it gets very frustrating when you make valid arguments to someone, and they completely ignore them without answer, or answer them out of context. Would you please give a valid response to the passages I quoted. Thank you. PS: Reread the definition of "psalms" I gave you, maybe that will clear things up. May the Grace of Our Lord be with you!! 2nd Samuel 22 |
