Subject: Mechanical Instruments? |
Bible Note: Tim, as you of course know full well, the 150 psalms which constitute a book of the Bible, are replete with references to all sorts of musical instruments that were in common use in the ancient Semitic world. It seems both unreasonable and unlikely that God would proscribe the usage of them as instruments of adoration and praise to Him in our time. There really isn't any scriptural foundational support for using a cappella music alone and hence banning instrumental music as an adjunct. --Hank |
