Subject: What was the purpose of the law? |
Bible Note: God's day to you, Hoppy, 2 Timothy 2:25 says "with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth" ...the context is impoertnat, as always. ... so who are "those who are in opposition" ... believers or unbelievers? ... also what does the word "if" play in this? ... and where do you see 'Apart from God's "granting" no one has any desire to repent' in this verse or its context?
