AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]. |
Subject: Righteousness of God? |
Bible Note: Greetings CMR - welcome to the Forum. The imputation of the righteousness of Christ is indeed amazing (part of the mystery of God IN Christ), and I praise God that He has given it to me as His adopted child. In no way do we "become gods" as some cults profess to believe, and this was my focus, to be sure that as believers we are clear on this point when we engage others with a New Age worldview. All is of God, by Him, for Him to the praise of His glory. Blessings, mommapbs |
