AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]. |
Subject: Righteousness of God? |
Bible Note: Thank you Angel for that reply - what concerns me is the mistaken notion some folks have that God's Word is somehow not complete, that there is more "truth" than has already been revealed. The book of moron is a case in point. Also, there are those who claim some divine revelation and gullible folks flock to their teachings, some of which have lead to their deaths (Jonesville, Waco, Heaven's Gate). We tread on unstable ground when we fail to use God's Word as our absolute authority. God keeps secrets; but we know that He does everything for our good. (Dt 29:29; Rom 8:28) Blessings, mommapbs |
