AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Subject: why is baptism important |
Bible Note: Tim S.: I do forgive you, although no apology is needed. Thank you for your reply. You do make some good points. I do not believe that baptism is minor, secondary or trivial. I believe it is extremely important. After all, Jesus Himself commanded it, making it a matter of obedience on our part. I appreciate that you have taken the time to answer with Scripture. Not everyone is as thorough or conscientious as you in their postings. Grace to you, kalos |
