Bible Question: why God said it is NOT GOOD when Adam can have full attention to HIM without eve? isn't it good Adam can have the undivided devotion to the Lord?when eve was created Adam should choose God instead of eve to show his dedication to God as his preference in the choice given by God ? |
Bible Answer: You have to look at the context of the entire verse. It was not good in God's heart for Adam to be alone, with no companion. Yes, he had God, but in order for us to be complete, to be all that God intended, we must have a helper to come along side of us, to complete us. Eve was a gift to Adam from God. If Adam refused God's gift that was motivated thru love, then that would have been a greater insult than what later transpired. We need to have the lenses of Eternity when we look at situations like this. |
