Bible Note: You ask "why would the Holy Spirit dwell in an unclean place?" God loves us, and the Holy Spirit dwells in a clean place because of Jesus' blood and His mercy, not because of any works that we do. God works through empty vessels all the time, it is only when we are empty of our own selves that the Holy Spirit can fill us and the power of God can manifest itself through us. The times that I have truly experienced His Power are the times I have been most humbled. You write "the portrayal of Jesus in Jesus Christ Super Star should be stench in the nostrils of any genuine Christian" I listened to it with a heart that was open to the Holy Spirit, not a mind that was judgmental. I was a teenager, accepting the Lord into my heart. This is not stench, but it is beautiful, and if you cannot see it, I'm sorry, but it does not make my experiences any the less real, or any the less beautiful, and it does not negate the Holy Spirit's work through this play. Now, I am tired of defending myself, as it means little to me to be judged by you. Love and Weariness, Lime |
