Bible Note: Jesified, I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever! I will praise and glorify the name of my GOD the day long! Blessed be the name of the Lord! Praise Him for His love and mercy and grace! This is my first exchange with you. I read your personal profile. I pray that the Lord our GOD bless you in your ministry. You write: "When I say that 'faith activates God' I mean that when you have faith in God that He will provide a particular thing, that is when God sends it. For example, Jesus healed people. There are two separate instances where the Bible says Jesus saw someone’s faith (Mark 2:5, Matthew 9:22). In both instances the individuals got what they had faith for; healing. If you will, please review John 5:2 through 5:14. Was this man's faith in the act of entering the water? His faith was not in Jesus' healing power prior to being healed because the man did not know who healed him until afterward. Why did Jesus heal this man? Was it just to prove that He had authority over the sabbath day? He does without a doubt! Why did Jesus heal this man without revealing himself to him? Why didn't Jesus say to the man "Your faith has made you well"? In Christ, Cyclist I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! |
