Subject: Saved by faith? |
Bible Note: Faith is seeing through the circumstance. Faith is blind trust. Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. CEV says 1Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see. My mother can believe that I have potential. And she can tell me I have potential. But she doesnt have faith in me until she steps out in faith and says I have complete faith in you that you are becomming the best person you can be for God. It is a blind un altered trust. Belief can be swayed. Moses believed God would deliver them from the sea and pharoh, but it was his faith that made him stand up and stretch his rod over the water. To be honest with you IT DOESN'T matter, The only thing that matters is that you provided no scripture that says we are saved by fait ALONE. It is just not there. Even though it is in alot of Christian songs, we are not saved by faith alone. |
