Bible Question (short): Please answer the question directly. |
Question (full): Dear Tim Moran, Thanks for not answering my question, again surely someone would complain on such an important doctrine had it been incorrect. Who better to interpret scripture than people who lived during or shortly after the time of the apostles, and who were instructed in the "traditions handed down by word of mouth or by letter" directly from the apostles. Also, compare Matthew 26:28 with Acts 2:38, "same exact phrase" in greek and in english. Surely Jesus did not die because are sins are already forgiven but in order to forgive them. Why is there "no English translation anywhere" stating baptism because of forgiveness if that's what it supposedly is saying? |
