Subject: Is THE SABBATH ON A SATURDAY |
Bible Note: Hello, Abraham, would have kept the same day as Sabbath as God commanded in creation, the seventh day. And also the reason they are called sons of abraham... first thing, the law didn't take effect at mount sinai, b/c we know that sin is transgression of the law, so if there was no law then how could eve have sinned? Moses was just the first person to write anything down. Moses was only two or three generations from Adam and Eve, ok he cwould've heard the creation story and everything else about 2nd or third hand. And if we look throughout the Bible, in James God says that there is no shadow of turning about HIm. Why would God make one of the commandments and then not have it forever, all the others will be for forever. And in Isa. 66:the the second to last verse it tells us we will be coming together on Sabbaths in the new earth. Hope that helped a little, I'll research it and see if i can give a better answer. |
