Bible Note: The Deuteronomy passage is about the Mosiac covenant. It is about blessing and cursing. They would be blessed if they kept the law. They would be cursed if they did not keep it. The rest of the story shows they did not keep the law and foreign powers took their land and them as slaves. The Lord has always had a believing remnant. The Lord tells his believing remnant how to live in the land where they are taken and the Lord blesses them there. I and II Kings, I and II Chronicles.
