Subject: Iam having some questions |
Bible Note: Hello to you John Hope you have had a good Christmas holiday I wiil be answering the second question of you first if you are not minding. "Did Peter sin when he would not eat with the Gentiles in the presence of those who opposed these things" Gal. 2:11,12 11--- But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. 12--- For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, (fearing them which were of the circumcision.) When we are seeing that Peter seperated himself. The reason he was seperating himself was because of the fear he had about what the ones from Jerusalem would say. Because he did already eat with them before they came. The answer to you would then be "NO" Peter did not sin. This is only my judgement being based upon his actions. And his motives for not eating with the Gentiles. But my judgement means nothing when I put it next to the scripture (word of God) (bible) 1 John 3:9 9--- Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1 John 5:18 18--- We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. Could you also be answering this question. If you are not agreeing with mine. Iam working on the other question for you Your brother KcabmI4 |
