Subject: Iam having some questions |
Bible Note: Part 1 Hello john This is being the second question of you. Iam having to make it in 2 peaces for you. Your question "The question has been asked, indirectly, and directly. Can we honestly say that we obey The greatest commandment?" "Can you say that you obey it?" I can only answer by using of the scripture. To be starting with Mark 12:30 is a referance to the begining part of the Law which was given by Moses. It is being written in Deut. But in the vs.4-9 Moses was telling the people. The things they are to be doing in their observing to be keeping of the Law. Deut. 6:4-9,25 4--- Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5--- (And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart,) and with all thy soul,) (and with all thy might.) 6--- ( And these words,) (which I command thee this day,) (shall be in thine heart:) 7--- ( And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.) 8--- (And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand,) (and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.) 9--- (And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house,) (and on thy gates.) It was only by the keeping of these Laws that the people gained their Reighteousness. And their Sanctiifcaton from God. Lev 20:7,8 7--- (Sanctify yourselves) therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. 8--- And ye shall (keep my statutes,) and do them: (I am the LORD which sanctify you.) 25--- ( And it shall be our righteousness,) (if we observe to do all these commandments) before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us. But as Christians we are knowing that God has written His Law in our Hearts. And in our minds Having been Perfected. And Sanctified we have become the Righteousness of God in Christ. Thereby becomming dead to the law. It is not of works. But of Grace by Faith. So to be answering this question honestly for you. "YES" We can honestly say that we obey The greatest commandment! "YES" I can say that I obey it! Through Jesus Christ! Because He was keeping the whole Law. Heb. 10:14 14--- For by one offering (he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.) 15--- Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16--- (This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,) saith the Lord, (I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;) 17--- (And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.) 18--- (Now where remission of these is,) (there is no more offering for sin.) Rom. 7:4, 6, 8 4--- Wherefore, my brethren, (ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ;) (that ye should be married to another,) (even to him who is raised from the dead,) (that we should bring forth fruit unto God.) 6--- (But now we are delivered from the law,) (that being dead wherein we were held;) (that we should serve in newness of spirit,) (and not in the oldness of the letter.) 8--- (But sin, taking occasion by the commandment,) (wrought in me all manner of concupiscence.) (For without the law sin was dead.) End of part 1 KcabmI4 |
