Bible Note: YEP! you had better check your source. why do you think there is so many differnt versions? King James is english. the old testement was first translated into greek because of Alexander the Great conquering the world. So that the Christians had the old testement to read. i have been told, i have not been able to prove this as yet, the the amplified, the NIV and the King james, OLD, are the only three versions that are translated from the original. all others are mens translations in a differnt train of thought.from what i dont know . Which can be Good because we all see God in a different aspect because Psalms 18:25,26 God is all things to all people. but if you look at the front of the bible it should tell you how it was translated and by whom. Bless you. so if you are really worried you can prove me wrong. but please give me proof.LOL :) |
