Subject: Did Christ fulfill the law - yes or no? |
Bible Note: Steve: With all respect, let me say again, I am not trying to start anything. Nor do I criticize you. I merely seek clarification. Perhaps the problem is that I am a little dull witted and slow to understand. So please humor me and put it in the simplest possible terms so I can understand what you mean. You write: "Kalos (John), If you read my post of Sun 11/11/01, 8:10am, I said He didn't come to fulfill the Law in verse 18 ... but, He did fulfill the Law and prophets in verse 17 ... and not abolish. The word for fulfill are two different Greek words. Searcher (Steve)" Again, the question is not what did you say? My question is what do you mean? When I read your previous post, I can see what it says. What I do not understand is what does it mean. You need to read your previous post. In your post of Sun, 11-11-01, 8:10 am, nowhere do you plainly say that Jesus did not come to fulfill the Law in verse 18. Nowhere in that post do you plainly say that He did fulfill the Law. I repeat: Did Christ fulfill the law or did he not? Yes or No. I thank you in advance for your help in clarifying this. Grace to you, kalos |
