Bible Note: Scripture ... Matthew 5:17-18 ... Restatement There, first we divide the Law into two, three or more groups. The Bible just calls it the Law. Second, Ginomai is the word for fulfilled, in verse 18, which is not the same as the word (pleroo) in verse 17. In verse 17, He was bringing deeper meaning to the Law and in verse 18, He is saying the Law will continue until heaven and earth pass away and all is fufilled ... there is no pronoun. Do we agree?
