Bible Note: Hi graceful, Thank you for your posts. I appreciate that you do not want to address or debate the fact of the triune God. May I assure you that I believe in the Trinity. However, I want you to consider that there also is the "spirit" of God. I quoted Acts 19:2 as it is written in the NASB and the NKJ. However, I have the Holy Spirit in the lower case in my personal copy [penciled in]. So I would say, "No, we have not even heard whether there is a holy spirit." These Pharisees in Matthew 12:24-28 knew about the angel or spirit Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons. They did not recognize the power and authority of the finger or spirit of God. They knew of the evil spirit but did not know the spirit of holiness. All that came out of their mouth was evil for they said that He had an unclean spirit. I believe that the Scriptures speak of the Spirit and the spirit, the Holy Spirit and the holy spirit, the Light and the light, the Rock and the rock, etc., etc. I do not deny the Personhood of the Holy Spirit. I simply see the gift of the holy spirit also. From the heart, Ray |
