Bible Question: well that's the scripture i quoted in my original question. i simply want to know WHY it's forgivable to blaspheme against god and the son but NOT the holy spirit, and i'm not trying to be difficult, i promise, i just really want to know, and i've asked several people in my church and none of them have given me a satisfactory answer, so if anyone can help me out on this i'd be very grateful. |
Bible Answer: so i read through many answers you've gotten from all your questions on blaspheme. i read the scripture reading and then i called my mother and spoke with her a little. it is not forgivable to blaspheme against God and Jesus nor the Holy Spirit. when you reject the Holy Spirit you reject God and Jesus also and if you reject God then you reject Jesus and the Holy Spirit and so on, you reject all three. it is complicated to understand but neither way you go is forgivable. not sure if i helped but i hope so. the only blasphemy that is forgiven is when another man speaks it to another Matthew 12:32 |
