Bible Note: Dear Ed, I'm okay with your disagreement with Sola Scriptura (the authority, necessity, sufficiency, perspicuity, and inerrancy of the Word) why aren't you just happy to leave me with my high regard for Scripture? (That would be tolerance... and a real life demonstration of the fruit of the Spirit!) If you would like to start arguing against these doctrines, go ahead and start a thread on the topic, citing pertinent Scripture. (Sorry, I guess arguing against sola Scriptura from the Bible would be a bit non sequitur. But that would following the Terms of Use.) "The prophet who has a dream may relate his dream, but let him who has My word speak My word in truth. What does straw have in common with grain?" declares the LORD." Jeremiah 23:28 "I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!"
