Bible Question:
Hi everyone This is my second post to this forum and it my be my last. Like most new Christians, I have a ton of questions, like; can God restore my marriage, healing, how to forgive others, etc. But I have read some of the other threads on this forum and I'm afraid of getting conflicting answers! One believes one way and one the other way. Are you folks for real? There is only one God! Doesn't anyone believe He can give an right answer? |
Bible Answer: In answer to your concern of conflicting answers, Jesus said in John 10:4-5 His sheep hear His voice and they won't follow a stranger, therefore you will have a peace (knowing) in your spirit that you've heard from His Spirit. Secondly, can God restore marriage? Absolutely, He begins with restoration from the inside of each individual in the marriage. The only person you can change is you, your prayer should be 'God change me, make me what I should be in this union You call marriage'. Pray for your spouse for God's perfect will in their life. Thirdly, forgiveness is absolutely essential. It releases YOU, to receive from God. Forgiveness does not mean the wrong done against you is OK. When God forgives He doesn't hold it against us, however there are still consequences of the sin done to deal with. Just remember this, God will deal with those that do you wrong, You are the apple of His eye and He'll be your defender. |
