NASB | Proverbs 28:9 He who turns away his ear from listening to the law, Even his prayer is an abomination. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Proverbs 28:9 He who turns his ear away from listening to the law [of God and man], Even his prayer is repulsive [to God]. [Ps 66:18; 109:7; Prov 15:8; Zech 7:11] |
Bible Question: Can Unbelievers pray to god(Not the prayer of Salvation) and have their prayers answered? |
Bible Answer: In addition, I found the following: Prov 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is His delight. Prov 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous. God's Word seems to be clear on this point. I realize it's not what most people want to hear but we dare not think He'll contradict His own Words. God bless. Rowdy |
