Subject: Can unbelievers pray to God? |
Bible Note: Hi, Angel. No, I am not an unbeliever. (Remember my "Spiritual Dilemma" post?) I have been saved for 13-1/2 glorious years. But, the event of my prayer being answered happened BEFORE I WAS SAVED, I prayed to God and He answered my prayer. I did not know the Bible or scriptures which say, " If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" All I knew was that my husband, myself and our three daughters and baby son were going to be put out on the street in one week! I sought God and He answered. I knew a little about God and yes, I believed in Him, but I thought my life had been such a shambles that He would not want me. After that prayer, we even went to church one time, and LIKED IT!!! But we didn't keep up with it. The house we moved into, the lady next door was a Christian and she was constantly trying to draw me to the Lord. If only we had listened back then. If only we would have let the Lord into our lives back then, I would not be divorced now and my children would have BOTH PARENTS together. But, alas, my ex-husband is completely lost, and I do pray for him. I did not actually come to the Lord until our divorce. God used that to bring me to Him. PRAISE GOD!!! Janae. |
