Subject: Is it always a sin to lie? |
Bible Note: Doc, Although I would have never been able to state it as eloquently as you have, those are my sentiments exactly, thus my quoting Romans 8:28. But simply because of God’s use of secondary causes, and that being His use of them to accomplish His own eternal purpose, He does not condone or justify the sinful things we do. In His sovereignty He can and does use our sinful acts to further His plan but I don’t find where He actually rewards us for those acts. The final results may be positive, but not because God rewarded a sinful act. Only because that is God’s sovereign choice to use those secondary causes for His purpose. WOS |
