Bible Question:
Humpty, Explain these verses if they have been fulfilled also give scripture back up please. Isa 2:4; Zech 12:10; Zech 14:4; Joel 2:30-31; Is11:6-9,65:25; Is16:5; Jer22:2; Ps 2:9. Now if you are going to use Figurative interpetation on these verses prove that they are suppose to be taken figurative. Also prove to me that the Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was broken because of their decendents I am guessing you must believe this to make make your views look correct. Also if you really feel up to it, why was it that God always judged Israel as a nation and us on a person to person basis? The reason I am asking this is because I'm guessing you may think we are now Israel. And why is there still idol worship when Isa 2 clearly states they will end? Darcy |
Bible Answer: well I think that you are giving me to many questions at one time to amswer but I will answer one of those verses for you. Let's take Joel.2:30-31, Has Joel been fulfilled? Answer yes it has.And how do we know this? The bible tells us so. I think you believe that Joel is to be taken as if these things were real, like the sun really turn dark and the moon turning to real blood, but like I told you before the bible will answer for it's self. Look at Acts.2:14-21. Here we have Peter tell us that Joel found it's fulfillment is his day. Look at verse 16, Peter say's this BUT THIS IS THAT WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET JOEL. And then he goes on the tell us all about Joel.2:30-31 and he tells us that this was being fulfilled. Now friend it just comes down to this, are you going to believe what the bible says? or what some man has to say? or what your own mind tells you? The bible is always right, always. I would be more than happy to answer all your questions but if you would please only one at a time. Thank You |
