Subject: If we ask for healing does God answer no |
Bible Note: Greetings Mitch! It is good to hear from you again! Your first question is easy! :-) 2 Pet. 3:9 - "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." And, Rom. 10:13 - "for, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved'" There are many more, but these make God's will concerning salvation for everyone perfectly clear. Concerning your second question, the nation of Israel is still Israel. However, Paul makes it clear in Rom. 9-11 that Gentiles have been grafted in spiritually speaking. Thus, I would not argue that the covenant promises made to the nation of Israel apply to believers! :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
