Subject: Mitch, were at Bethesda healed? |
Bible Note: First off let me state that I am sorry the Scriptures have not been posting, if you don't see them on my posts, then its some other error than mine. Because I have listed quite a bunch since I've begun this discussion. The burden of proof isn't on me. I have no burdens about the Word. I know the truth, and I am doing all that I can, to help you see the truth as well, I would like to see the Church be able to minister to a lost and dying world, not sit around and debate on who has the biggest health issues, and who has the least money. My question was never answered, does anyone here ever ask the Lord to allow them to be the one who recieves cancer from his 'loving' hands? And do you reazlie so much as giving yourself or anyone around you something so small as an asprin, that you might just be disobeying God by trying to cure something, he wants you to have? I can say that Scripture never tells you Paul had this thorn all of his life, Because Paul never once said he was not healed of it. You yourself have said I'm argueing from silence of scripture, so let me use that to prove my point. If Scripture says Jesus healed all, if the early church would go about healing those who were sick, and the Bible clearly shows us that, then why do we even bother with what isn't written. There is no place in Scripture which can show you God wants man to die in sickness and disease. So why would we believe thats the way he wants it? God said he does all things after the cousel of his own will. (Ephesians 1:11) And we can say that will of God, is the Word of God. Then why would God show in his Word his willingness to heal all, yet never once show us his unwillingness to heal just some (Which by the way, would m ake him a respecter of persons.. See James 1:17. So let me sum up what I'm saying, first off I am answering your questions, by stating scripture doesn't show Paul still has this 'thorn' all of his life. Secondly, I am giving you Scriptural proof that a) God does everything by his Word, B) God never showed us in his Word his unwillingness to heal . and C) If you reread James 1:17 you will see every good gift, and every perfect gift comes from God, show me where he has also said all bad gifts come from him.
