Subject: Can we agree? |
Bible Note: That's what I mean, they have taken the teachings out of context. I have heard the same teachings, but I understand that it comes down to a heart issue. God does things in my life because He loves me, not because I bribe Him. I can understand why Creflo Dollar and Kenneth Copeland can upset some people. I can see how some people want the easy way out ( if that makes sense) and are upset when it doesn't go their way. But everything I have learned so far is that there is no easy way. They have taught me to search the scripture for God's desire for my life. It's not about God doing FOR me, it's about God doing through me. I can't be the focus, or God is out of the picture. It's easier to say "I am doing this because of what you did" than it is to take responsibility for your own actions. That's all I'm saying. It's a context thing. If that makes sense. Kelkat |
