Subject: PastorFloyd, why do you twist Scripture |
Bible Note: GeorJoy. Your frustration and response to Floyd is understandable. I can get rather upset at Word of Faith followers too. In my minds eye I can't understand why when given what I would say is a Biblical response they do not just come out say wow I never knew that before, thank you so much for showing me the error of my ways. I have left and shut off my computer in anger, I have been that upset. I felt I could no longer function in that way. So I am now attempting to just take a brake, and cool down, say a prayer and return when I have a better attutude. Your letter is harsh, not kind, or reaching out with truth, but rather hitting Floyd over the head verbaly. There is abetter way than insulting and making blunt statements that only make the person back up into a cornner. What we write will be here for sometime. Maybe we soneday might see what we said was right but said with intentions to hurt and belittle another. I wonder what Jesus would have us do in a case like this? I am reminded of a note in a Bible that says; "Truth without love; and Love without truth, are neither." author unknown. I found this several years ago, and I hope this might add some encouragement your way. I also have this in the same Bible. "Lord help mme to make my words sweet and tender; For tommrow I may have to eat them." These are just little gems with a powerful punch. Blessings George. justme |
