AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 2:9 And [in that garden] the LORD God caused to grow from the ground every tree that is desirable and pleasing to the sight and good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the [experiential] knowledge (recognition) of [the difference between] good and evil. Bible Note: Bruce7 - "I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness." John 12:46. Those who CHOOSE to believe come into the Light; those who CHOOSE not to believe remain in the dark. In Acts 26:18 Jesus comissions Paul "to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me." That little word "may" signifies possibility to me - one may choose to receive or reject Jesus. Those who reject Jesus choose to remain in the family of the father of lies (John 8:44). "choose for yourselves today whom you will serve" Josh 24:15 "No one can serve two masters" Mt 6:24 "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." Gal 6:7-8 I believe that God is the Author of choice and He gives us what we choose. I encourage you to choose wisely.
