If I read you correctly Paul is a very example of person that called by God for special tasks. I put here maybe one fourth of his Evangelical Journey Paul As he waited at Troas for indications of the will of God as to his future movements, he saw, in the vision of the night, a man from the opposite shores of Macedonia standing before him, and heard him cry, "Come over, and help us" (Ac 16:9). Paul recognized in this vision a message from the Lord, In Macedonia, churches were planted in Philippi, Thessalonica, and Berea. Leaving this province, Achaia, Athens, but quitted it after, probably, a brief sojourn (Ac 17:17-31). He passed over to Corinth, Thessalonica, his earliest apostolic letters, and then sailed for Syria. third missionary tour. He journeyed by land in the "upper coasts" (the more eastern parts) of Asia Minor, Ephesus, where he tarried for no less than three years, engaged in Christian labour. First Epistle to the Corinthians The silversmiths, whose traffic in the little images which they made was in danger organized a riot against Paul, and he left the city, and proceeded to Troas (2Co 2:12), he went to meet Titus in Macedonia. Having spent Macedonia, visiting the churches there, specially the churches of Philippi, Thessalonica, and Berea, probably penetrating into the interior, to the shores of the Adriatic (Ro 15:19), he then came into Greece, where he abode three month, spending probably the greater part of this time in Corinth (Ac 20:2). he wrote his Epistle to the Galatians, and also the great Epistle to the Romans. At the end of the three months he left Achaia for Macedonia, thence crossed into Asia Minor, and touching at Miletus, there addressed the Ephesian presbyters, whom he had sent for to meet him (Ac 20:17), and then sailed for Tyre, finally reaching Jerusalem, probably in the spring of A.D. 58. He was almost murdered by a Jewish mob in the temple. (See Temple, Herod's.) Rescued from their violence by the Roman commandant, he was conveyed as a prisoner to Caesarea, where, from various causes, he was detained a prisoner for two years in Herod's praetorium (Ac 23:35). "Paul was not kept in close confinement; he had at least the range of the barracks in which he was detained. for him, or perhaps encountering dangers in which they sorely needed his presence. It was a mysterious providence which thus arrested his energies and condemned the ardent worker to inactivity; yet we can now see the reason for it. But judging it right at this crisis to claim the privilege of a Roman citizen, he appealed to the emperor (Ac 25:11). Such an appeal could not be disregarded, and Paul was at once sent on to Rome under the charge of one Julius, a centurion of the "Augustan cohort." After a long and perilous voyage, he at length reached the imperial city in the early spring, probably, of A.D. 61. Here he was permitted to occupy his own hired house, under constant military custody. This privilege was accorded to him, no doubt, because he was a Roman citizen, and as such could not be put into prison without a trial. The soldiers who kept guard over Paul were of course changed at frequent intervals, and thus he had the opportunity of preaching the gospel to many of them during these "two whole years," and with the blessed result of spreading among the imperial guards, and even in Caesar's household, an interest in the truth (Php 1:13). His rooms were resorted to by many anxious inquirers, both Jews and Gentiles (Ac 28:23,30-31), and thus his imprisonment "turned rather to the furtherance of the gospel," and his "hired house" became the centre of a gracious influence which spread over the whole city. During this period the apostle wrote his epistles to the Colossians, Ephesians, Philippians, and to Philemon, and probably also to the Hebrews. This first imprisonment came at length to a close, Once more he set out on his missionary labours, probably visiting western and eastern Europe and Asia Minor. During this period of freedom he wrote his First Epistle to Timothy and his Epistle to Titus. The year of his release was signalized by the burning of Rome, which Nero saw fit to attribute to the Christians. A fierce persecution now broke out against the Christians. During this imprisonment he probably wrote the Second Epistle to Timothy, the last he ever wrote. The trial ended: Paul was condemned, and delivered over to the executioner. He was led out of the city, with a crowd of the lowest rabble at his heels. The fatal spot was reached; he knelt beside the block; the headsman's axe gleamed in the sun and fell; and the head of the apostle of the world rolled down in the dust" (probably A.D. 66), four years before the fall of Jerusalem. |

482 | Are they the same spirit? | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 23816
This is the queen of heaven that was mentioned in Jeremiah. Queen of heaven (Jer 7:18; 44:17,25), the moon, worshipped by the Assyrians as the receptive power in nature. Your question: "Do you think the appartition (spirit) that claims to be the "queen of heaven" today, is the same false god as mentioned in Jeremiah?" I dont know if you are referring to the "Queen of Heaven of Chatholic which is "Virgin Mary"? if your answer is yes, what can I say is they are different. Infairness to our Catholic brothers and sisters, I respect Mary (as a mother of Jesus Christ when Jesus Christ still in a human form.) But I dont believed in apiration or if there is really an apiration that was mentioned many times of our Catholic brother and sisters. Because what I believed for dead people: Ec 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ec 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. If there is aspiration, it could be satan, becuase Satan can be transfomed or can pretend that He is good: 2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. I hope it would helps God bless, Johnny |

483 | How can everyone hear the gospel | Rom 2:15 | jlpangilinan | 23804
Yes! it was mentioned that the gospel of Jesus will preach all over the world! but not anyone will hear it and the same time saw it. Please dont think that my answer to you is Sarcastic but of course we know that sometimes the babies dies very early, so those are belong to did not have the opportunity to listen the Gospel. To answer to your second question: "But what about the people who live their entire lives in remote areas of the world and don't have a chance to hear missionaries speak about Jesus Christ?" Apostle paul has specific teaching on how God will judge those people: Ro 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Ro 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) I hope it would helps. 485 | Is war evil? | Deut 7:2 | jlpangilinan | 23730
Martha, I am sorry, I am not tim or radioman, but I dont think your not quite right when you stated that war is not evil. I know that in the time of Old testament God through Moses commanded people of Israel to go to war in order to protect thier faith (JEWISH) because at that time only JEWISH people worship the true GOD. If we recall that when Babylons invaded Israel Daniel and other people of Israel force to worship Idols. There is the reason why Israel has to do battle against the nations that not worshiping God. But in the time of Jesus Christ we have now part of the commonwealth of Israel: Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: We are now even Gentiles worshiping the same God. There are no reason to go to war against each other. He (Jesus) never encouarage anyone to go to war or to fighback. Some passages that will explain that war is evil. Jas 4:1 ¶ From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Jas 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. with that passages, if lusts desire to kill is still not evil for you, what can I say is I dont think so. Another example: Re 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Re 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Re 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Gog and magog will do "battle" against to the beloved city. Battle is very the same as war. At Re 20:10 it was mentioned, "And the devil that deceived them" who decieved the gog and Magog to do war against the beloved city? THE DEVIL! so if the devil who decieve them to go to war meaning THE WAR IS EVIL in this particular time. I dont think if the devil decieve them and we call them HOLY? Your Statement"We are all his children, the whole world is his. Imagine you were the father and you see your children fighting and killing each other. What would you do as the father?" Let the scriptures answers that: Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. See? Biblically speaking, The devil also has His own children here in this world I hope it would help. God bless, Johnny |

486 | Are we to follow the old testament? | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 23729
Martha, I don’t think there are really teaching of Jesus Christ that encourage people to forget Old Testament. If you heard that kind of teaching I am sure that is based on thier own conclusions and not from the scriptures. Although it was mentioned: Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Let me put here some example: Mt 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. Mt 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Mt 17:4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. Mt 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. In that paticular instances, peter suggested to the lord that he is going to made three tabernacles. At verse 17:5 it was mentioned"While he yet spake" (Peter)behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him." What is this mean, HEAR YE HIM. Why the God the Father not telling to Peter "Hear Them" but instead hear Him. Meaning any teaching of Moses that not included in the Teaching of Jesus Christ it is not important to us and the Teaching of Jesus Christ are we are going to follow. What is the teaching of Moses that included in the teaching of Christ: Le 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. De 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might There no mistake with this teaching it is included in the two great commandments that given to us by Jesus Christ. WHAT IS THE TEACHING OF MOSES THAT NOT INCLUDED TO THE TEACHING OF JESUS CHRIST? there are too many but i will put some of that here: Ex 31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. But Jesus Christ change the implementation regarding Sabbath, He and his deciples do things in Sabbath. Lu 6:1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. Lu 6:6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered. Lu 6:7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. Lu 6:9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? Another example: Adultery is punishable by death in the law of Moses, but Jesus Christ change the implementation of it. Joh 8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Joh 8:5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? Joh 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. If Jesus Christ allowed those people to stone that woman to death it is the same thing that He allows those people to disobey the law “Thou shall not kill” which is included in the ten Commandments. I think we are not really reject all of teaching of the Old Testament but Jesus Christ just change some implementation of such teaching. I hope it would helps, God bless, Johnny |

487 | How do we respond to war as Christians? | Deut 7:2 | jlpangilinan | 23721
Coop1 I miss out some word in my first answer, I can be misquoted here. I miss out the word "not" I am sorry. I know we cannot stop things included in prophecy: But Jesus clearly said to us: Love one another. The very important here is that we are "not" provoking the wars or started any kind of trouble to anyone. That is the teaching of Jesus Christ to us. He didnt mention that in our capacity as a man we even at least prevent any of those wars but we are not the one started or participated: God bless, Johnny |

488 | How do we respond to war as Christians? | Deut 7:2 | jlpangilinan | 23720
Coop1 Your Question:"My next question than is: How do we respond, as Christians, to our current war time situation?" Let the scriptures answers your questions. Mt 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Mt 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Mt 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Mt 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Mt 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Mt 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Mt 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. The wars that happening to us right now is part of Jesus Christ warning to us. He said those things will happened as a sign of His second coming. How we react with those wars? Be preapared day and night As Jesus Said He is coming like a "thief at night". Continue... This wars according to the bible will get worse then shall be great tribulation: Mt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. But dont worry my friend, because of you and me, and all believers of Jesus Christ, those days Should be shortend:(tribulation) Mt 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. You also mentioned that many believers turn around" it part of the prophecy that in the latter times too many false prophet will gone into this world: they can get many believers also. So be prepared: 1Jo 4:1 ¶ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. I know we cannot stop things included in prophecy: But Jesus clearly said to us: Love one another. The very important here is that we are provoking the wars or started any kind of trouble to anyone. That is the teaching of Jesus Christ to us. He didnt mention that in our capacity as a man we even at least prevent any of those wars but we are not the one started or participated: 1Co 5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. "If we really following Christ, then must ye needs go out of the world" What we can do really is to pray, and continue teaching, preaching. Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. I am sorry if my answer to you is too long, I am just make sure that I am answering you based in the scriptures and not with my own conclusions. I hope it would helps. Johnny |

489 | Please tell me about the goddess Diana | Gen 1:1 | jlpangilinan | 23635
Diana so called by the Romans; called Artemis by the Greeks, the "great" goddess worshipped among heathen nations under various modifications. Her most noted temple was that at Ephesus. It was built outside the city walls, and was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. "First and last it was the work of 220 years; built of shining marble; 342 feet long by 164 feet broad; supported by a forest of columns, each 56 feet high; a sacred museum of masterpieces of sculpture and painting. At the centre, hidden by curtains, within a gorgeous shrine, stood the very ancient image of the goddess, on wood or ebony reputed to have fallen from the sky. Behind the shrine was a treasury, where, as in 'the safest bank in Asia,' nations and kings stored their most precious things. The temple as St. Paul saw it subsisted till A.D. 262, when it was ruined by the Goths" (Ac 19:23-41)., Moule on Ephesians: Introd. Johnny |

490 | Exodus 26:1...First mention of cherubim? | Ex 26:1 | jlpangilinan | 23622
The first mentioned about cherubims in the bible is in Ge 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. We know that God speak to Moses regarding cherubim we are sure that God show it to Moses of what cherubim looks like, otherwise you right how could the crafsmen or the worker from Levitas can make it if they dont know how it looks like. God give "title" Cherubim it could be a kind of angels. Because I think angels also have specific name for them i.e. Michael and other angels. Cherub plural cherubim, the name of certain symbolical figures frequently mentioned in Scripture. They are first mentioned in connection with the expulsion of our first parents from Eden (Ge 3:24). There is no intimation given of their shape or form. They are next mentioned when Moses was commanded to provide furniture for the tabernacle (Ex 25:17-20; 26:1,31). God promised to commune with Moses "from between the cherubim" (Ex 25:22). This expression was afterwards used to denote the Divine abode and presence (Nu 7:89; 1Sa 4:4; Isa 37:16; Ps 80:1; 99:1). In Ezekiel's vision (Eze 10:1-20) they appear as living creatures supporting the throne of God. From Ezekiel's description of them (Eze 1:1-28; 10:1-22; 41:18-19), they appear to have been compound figures, unlike any real object in nature; artificial images possessing the features and properties of several animals. Two cherubim were placed on the mercy-seat of the ark; two of colossal size overshadowed it in Solomon's temple. Ezekiel (Eze 1:4-14) speaks of four; and this number of "living creatures" is mentioned in Re 4:6. Those on the ark are called the "cherubim of glory" (Heb 9:5), i.e., of the Shechinah, or cloud of glory, for on them the visible glory of God rested. They were placed one at each end of the mercy-seat, with wings stretched upward, and their faces "toward each other and toward the mercy-seat." They were anointed with holy oil, like the ark itself and the other sacred furniture. The cherubim were symbolical. They were intended to represent spiritual existences in immediate contact with Jehovah. Some have regarded them as symbolical of the chief ruling power by which God carries on his operations in providence (Ps 18:10). Others interpret them as having reference to the redemption of men, and as symbolizing the great rulers or ministers of the church. Many other opinions have been held regarding them which need not be referred to here. On the whole, it seems to be most satisfactory to regard the interpretation of the symbol to be variable, as is the symbol itself. Their office was, (1) on the expulsion of our first parents from Eden, to prevent all access to the tree of life; and (2) to form the throne and chariot of Jehovah in his manifestation of himself on earth. He dwelleth between and sitteth on the cherubim (1Sa 4:4; Ps 80:1; Eze 1:26,28). God bless, Johnny |

Lovinggod, The apostles speak of the incorruptible crown, the crown of life (Jas 1:12; Re 2:10) "that fadeth not away" (1Pe 5:4, Gr. amarantinos; comp. 1Pe 1:4). Probably the word "amaranth" was applied to flowers we call "everlasting," the "immortal amaranth." Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. The crown of life is to be with Jesus Christ in Heaven forever and ever Amen. I hope it would helps God bless, Johnny |

De 7:2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: In the old testament God Commanded people of Israel to go to war in order to defend Israel and the same time thier faith (Jewish)Because at the time Irael is only the nation that Worship the true God. In order to protect the Jewish Relegion they have to go to war against those nation that treat Jewish relegion because they know if any of this nation will invade them it will change thier kind of worship. If we recall when Babilonians invaded Israel, Daniel and other people of Israel force to worship Idols. When Jesus Christ crusified give as share of the commonwealth of Israel we are now believed in the same God, so there is no reason to go war against each other, even us gentiles now believed in the same God: Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: Jesus Christ never encourage anyone to go war against each other, He also instructed people to flee to the mountains if there are treat for thier life. He never commanded us to fight back: Lu 21:20 ¶ And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Lu 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. Jesus Christ also gave an specific instruction to soldiers: Lu 3:14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages. About Christian warfare: The Christian life is represented as a warfare, and the Christian graces are also represented under the figure of pieces of armour (Eph 6:11-17; 1Th 5:8; 2Ti 2:3-4). The final blessedness of believers is attained as the fruit of victory (Re 3:21). I hope it would helps God bless, Johnny |

In the passages in the book of Job, Satan presented himself into the lord. He is the god of this world: 2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 494 | can you help me defind Zion | 1 Kin 8:1 | jlpangilinan | 23458
Zion sunny; height, one of the eminences on which Jerusalem was built. It was surrounded on all sides, except the north, by deep valleys, that of the Tyropoeon (q.v.) separating it from Moriah (q.v.), which it surpasses in height by 105 feet. It was the south-eastern hill of Jerusalem. When David took it from the Jebusites (Jos 15:63; 2Sa 5:7) he built on it a citadel and a palace, and it became "the city of David" (1Ki 8:1; 2Ki 19:21,31; 1Ch 11:5). In the later books of the Old Testament this name was sometimes used (Ps 87:2; 149:2; Isa 33:14; Joe 2:1) to denote Jerusalem in general, and sometimes God's chosen Israel (Ps 51:18; 87:5). In the New Testament it is used sometimes to denote the Church of God (Heb 12:22), and sometimes the heavenly city (Re 14:1). |

495 | where is it? | Matt 5:38 | jlpangilinan | 23453
Your question: "Can anyone tell me where in the New testament is says that we should not worry about following the laws in Exodus, like the eye for and eye thing?" I think it is not right if we mentioned that "we should not worry" but the right thing is "We must more aware of the "new commandments that given to us by Jesus Christ. AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH. is considerable came from the teaching of moises which is followed by the people of Israel. It is include also in the law of Moses, other example of that kind of teaching that if you saw anyone do anyhting in the day of sabbath they will stone to death. This kind of law will not anymore justified us: Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. a 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. But this is not mean that we are not worry about the law. Jesus Christ gave us the two Great Commandments that will simplify every law of Moses: Mr 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 30. Mr 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. An example how Jesus Christ taught us of we careful of observing his Two Great Commandments. Joh 8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Joh 8:5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 5. Torrey Joh 8:6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. Joh 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 7. Joh 8:8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. Joh 8:9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. The sin committed by that woman is punishsable by death under the law of Moses. How about thou shall not kill it is also included under the ten commandments. If Jesus allows those people to stone that woman to death it is the same thing that He allow those people to disobey the law which is "Thou shall not Kill" law itself will contradict its own laws. But if you study the Two Great commandments there is no commandments will contradict itself. I hope it help. God bless, Johnny |

496 | Is lusting after wife sin? | Matt 5:28 | jlpangilinan | 23437
Yes! Lusting after wife Sin. Part of two great commamdments is love your nieghboor as you love yourselves, Your wife is considered as your niegboors. God has specific teaching about man and wives: Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Eph 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. Eph 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. When we read those passages, we noticed that it says "love your wife like youself" and LOVE has a different meaning from LUST. Mt 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Man and wife will become one flesh. If you lust your wife mneaning you lust yourself too. How could you offer this kind of Body to Jesus Christ? 1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 19. 1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. "the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" If you the holy ghost which in you how can you lust in yourself? So the answer is very clear. "LUSTING AFTER WIFE IS SIN" I hope it would help. God bless, Johnny |

499 | no gospel equal go to hell? | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 23430
There not exactly go to hell, but God has an specific judgement for them. Here is the teaching of Apostle Paul: To those which have not law, meaning for those that have not opportunity to hear the gospel. Ro 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Ro 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) Even you dont have the opportunity to hear the gospel but then you still have conscience that given to us by God. With that conscience you still have the capability of Doing good or bad. Maybe God will judge them based on thier conscience because they dont have the opportunity to hear the Gospel or teaching of Jesus Christ. I hope it helps. God bless, Johnny |

500 | Rapture question? | 1 Thess 4:17 | jlpangilinan | 23407
Looking for truth, I saw many answers of your questions. Let me try answers it in my on views. Its in the hand of God. Who knows if all of you in the airplane will all go to heaven. If your question is will God allows others to die? my answer is YES! if they are not prepared for the coming of Christ, meaning if they are people do not believed in Christ, God will allows the death for them. Let me give you and example. In the time of Noah, Ge 6:6 ¶ And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Ge 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. e 6:8 ¶ But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Ge 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. God destroy all the people except for those who walked with Him. So if other people in the plane you said is not walked with God we know that God will allows that death will happened to them. Be always reminded that God is powerful. He can allows things to happen if He want, but God also can fly that plane without any pilot if He want to. You can reply on this note if it is valid for you. We try to explain something if you want to. I hope it helps. God bless, Johnny |
