561 | Where did Jacob get the game? | Gen 27:7 | jlpangilinan | 14785
Steve, I think if we are going to read the whole chapter, when mother of Jacob heard Isaack will bless Esau, she told jacob to get to good kids of goat and make them savoury meat. During this time Esau is out hunting for the venison (wild animals as requested of his father) The whole chapter 27 also stated that Isaac surprise that Esau is to quick to find venison. Because Isaac dont know that it was Jacob who brought him the food. Genesis 27:7 Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the LORD before my death. I hope I did answer your question. Johnny |

563 | what does this mean Exodus 22:16 | Ex 22:16 | jlpangilinan | 14498
I don't know if I can answer what you would want to know. King James version: Exodus 22:16 And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife. IF YOU BOTHERED BY THE TERM "MAID" IT IS A MEDIEVAL TERM FOR "VIRGIN" OR "LADY" LIKE "MAID MARRIANE" IT MEANS "VIRGIN". I PUT HERE OTHER TRANSLATIONS I hope it would help: Ex 22:16 If a man seduces a virgin who is not betrothed and lies with her, he shall pay the "bride price" and marry her. I am also using King James Version, but sometimes if the term is very hard for me to understand I did consult other translation. I hope I answered your question. Ex 22:16 |

564 | Tilthe calculation:On gross or net pay? | 2 Cor 9:1 | jlpangilinan | 13112
On what basis is tilthe on salary calculated(gross or net after deductions)? My Answer: In the new testament there is no teaching of Jesus Christ, about tilthe, the teaching goes 2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. The teaching about tilthe is the teaching of Moses, I not telling here that the teaching of Moses was wrong. I will give you some verses please read it carefully Mark 9:5-7 And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. "For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him." If you notice from the paragraph that I quoted "For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid." Before Peter finish what he is going to say: (and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.") What is the meaning of this, God the tell them this is my beloved son: hear Him." Why the Lord God not tell Peter "Here they are hear them" Meaning all kind of teaching that Jesus Christ is going to teach us Him we are going to hear and follow. I did not say that we are not going to follow the teaching of Moses, But those teaching of Moses that Jesus Christ also continue taught. How about the teaching of Moses that Jesus Christ not taugh anymore, Are we going to follow those teaching? Example of Moses that not applicable for gentiles: "Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; " Ephesians 2:11-12 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: I hope this will help In Christ, Johnny |

565 | Where did Jesus get His blood from | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 13094
I will try to help answer your question, you can inform me if it is valid for you. First you must believed Jesus Christ (Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh)and there is no ORIGINAL SIN: 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Second You must believed that Jesus Christ is NoT one of CREATION but all things created by him and for Him: Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: He which were born not of Blood, how He could be a sinner like us? John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. HE CANNOT SIN, BECUASE HE IS BORN OF GOD 1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. There still too many verses will explain your question but I hope I answered some of them? Please let me know if it is valid for you. In Christ, Johnny |

566 | What is the new covenant Christ spoke of | Luke 22:20 | jlpangilinan | 13002
This is his new commandments and new covenants saving gentils by his blood. The first covenant is the ten commandments and the commandments through Moses Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. After Jesus Christ Crusified, he open the door of salvation to everybody including us (gentiles i hope your not Isralites)and we are not justified by the law of Moses. Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Ephesians 2:11-14 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Thanks, Johnny |

567 | How many humans created? | Genesis | jlpangilinan | 12996
Hi there, I'm interested in what you have mentioned (Christ in his humanity would have no "original sin," ) of course Jesus Christ has no Original sin Becuase he is God. Philippians 2:6-7 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and also ordinary people has no original sin Please see those verses Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. |
