Brother, I recognized you as such instantly. You know as well as I do that there will be those who will pick apart the verses you quoted, and then come back with verses that appear to contradict them. What does this accomplish? Words express thoughts. The words contained in the Holy Scriptures express the thoughts of God. The Bible is the mind of God. We can all read the words, even unbelievers, does that mean we all know the mind of God? If I use words that express the truth of God, are they any less valuable? If there is truth in them, do they not also originate with God? Is it the words that are valuable, or the thought behind the words that is valuable? Just a thought :) |
