Amen, Steve! Right as rain and speaking of which, Noah's Ark was by no means an unsuccessful enterprise, yet it had only eight people in it. But look how fruitful they became! Look how they multiplied! The fact that we are alive on the earth today shows what God has wrought from small beginnings, what He can accomplish through just a few people. Who knows the enormity of the influence on the world a vibrant small church of a few committed followers of Christ can have in this world? --Hank | ||||||

Greetings Hank! Years ago, I read a book entitled, "Freedom from the Sucess Syndrome". In it, the author made an excellent case that Biblical sucess is defined by obedience and faithfulness to God, not numbers. Yet, people make two wrong assumptions in our culture. Either it is assumed that a small church is not sucessful because it is not large, or it is assumed that a small church is more sucessful than a larger church. Both assumptions are wrong!
