Hello Rob I must disagree with your statement: "To conclude this portion of the question, not only did God form Jesus, but He dwelt in the physical body of Jesus through His Spirit." What you have stated is that Jesus had a human body but a divine spirit. This is not accurate. He was fully God and fully man--100 percent of each--in one person. While it's true that God does not have a body, the spiritual make-up of Christ was two natures--human and divine. Steve |

Steve, This was an explanation (using scripture, I might add) to a person who asked a question concerning the duality of Jesus. Please understand that although I believe and appreciate the concept of 100 percent God--100 percent man, most people do not. When most people hear that something is 100 percent one thing, and at the same time 100 percent another, they have trouble reconciling this; to most people 100 percent and 100 percent is 200 percent, and how can anything be more than 100 percent of what it is? Neither am I saying that Jesus was 50 percent God and 50 percent man. To apply mathematics to the duality of Christ is more than just a little silly. I assure you though, we've said the same thing, and I don't believe it to be any other way. A lot of people argue over concepts like this, and for no good reason. I really hope that you don't want to spilt hairs over certain words. Believe me, I get enough of that from the atheist/intellectual/evolutionists that I constantly seem to be tasked to witness to. Take care, Rob |

Hello Rob My concern was for accuracy. We need to be as careful as possible to maintain the truth of Scripture while explaining it. Steve |

Steve, I'm sorry if I came across wrong or in a manner other than friendly; though consider as well, nowhere in the Bible do we find this "100 percent, 100 precent" reference. Does this make it not true? Certainly not, but since we have understanding of these truths, we can make such claims and not be in error. Take care, brother, -Rob |
