Greetings Jdthcstl! Welcome to the Forum! I'm glad that you have joined our fellowship! However, I would like to mention that this is a Bible Study Forum. Therefore, one must always support what one says with Scripture. In your post, you made several statements which are unScriptural. 1) Scripture never says that the Holy Spirit never had a physical body. 2) Scripture never says that the Holy Spirit, or Jesus for that matter, had many incarnations. 3) Scripture never says that the Holy Spirit left the physical world and went to heaven. 4) Scripture never says that the Holy Spirit is now living in a spiritual realm until the end of time. 5) Finally, Scripture never says that the Holy Spirit will return to be either our judge or our executioner. So, would you show us how these comments are Biblical? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

My dear brother in Christ. God has reveal his energy in many forms in the past. And if you do not understand that God incarnated in the baby Jesus grew up as a man. Died for our salvation as a helpless lamb. Went to heaven, from were he will return to judge, and punish according to our worth. Then you need to read the scriptures of the New Testament, were all this is written. Your sister in christ. |

Jesus did not say we would be judged and punished acording to our worth. John 5:22 Even the Father judges no one, for He has given all judgment (the last judgment and the whole business of judging) entirely into the hands of the Son, Note, not the Holy Spirit John 5:23 So that all men may give honor (reverence, homage) to the Son just as they give honor to the Father. [In fact] whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, Who has sent Him. John 5:24 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life. John 3:18 He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation--he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.] |

From the beginning of the bible we have seen how God punishes sinners. Once he destroy the whole world except for one righteous man and his family. This proves that God detest all kinds of evil acts. What makes you think that he will not punish the sinners of today. Those he finds worthy of life will wear the crown of life, and those unworthy, will go off to their punishment at the end of time.

Hello Judith I would ask you then, "Who is worthy?" I ask because Romans 3:9-18 says that none are worthy. Steve |

7 | HOW COULD JESUS BE A DESCENDANT OF DAVID | Bible general Archive 1 | JdthCstl | 39599
The Answer is in Revelation 22:11, and 12. Which states, that when the end comes, all those doing wrong will do it more and more, the vile will become more vile, good men will be better, and those who are holy will continue on in greater holiness. Those who will be saved are those that have not allowed bad cells to take over completly. If God finds enough goodness in you, you will be a candidate for the crown of life. But if you are rotten to the core, there is no salvation. When you see a good fruit among rotten fruit, you save the good fruit and throw the rest away. When bad cells take over a body, and destroy all the good cells, the body dies. When evil takes over our soul completly, God cannot save it. So Goodness is what you need to be worthy of salvation.

Hello Judith, Romans 3 says no one is good. There are no good cells in any of us. Only by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ that we gain anything good. Steve |

There is good and bad in all of us. But most of us tend to be good. In Romans 13 we are told to obey the government for God is the one who put it there. Must of us try to be Good Citizens. So there is a tendency to be good. If what you state was true, we would be living in a world of chaos. But thank God that we do have good cells, that help us to live a righteous way of life. Christ is the holy spirit, there is no badness found in him. And he is the one who created Everything there is. You can read this in John 1. So how can you state that there is no good cells in any of us, if our creator was completly good.
10 | HOW COULD JESUS BE A DESCENDANT OF DAVID | Bible general Archive 1 | srbaegon | 39674
Hello Judith All of us tend to be bad. Government is put in place to inhibit the bad and promote good. It's true a bad person can do a good deed, but that does not make him a good person. When God created the world, He saw that it was very good (Gen 1:31). When sin came into the world, everything changed (Gen 3:14-19). Now, we natural do bad (Rom 3:10-23; 8:6-8) until we believe on Christ (Rom 8:9-14). Steve |
