1 | Who moved the Sabbath to Sun.? | Col 2:16 | Rayteck | 1974
The 7th day Sabbath is a part of the 10 commandments. It points to God has our creator. The claim that we no longer have to observe it is nonsense. Christ himself observed it. He said He was Lord of the Sabbath. The Apostles kept it long after Jesus death and ressurection. And it is still binding today. God never changes, no shadow of turning. It is in the heart of His royal law, the foundation of His government in heaven and on earth. Read the book of James concerning breaking just one of the commandments, we become guilty of them all. As far as the day of the week. Look at your calander what day is the first day of the week? Sunday. what day is the 7th day of the week. Saturday. God created the sabbath day at creation. As a day of rest for man. To honor and worship the creator. The Sabbath was made for man not man for the Sabbath. Don't we all think that God knows what is best for us. |

2 | Do you keep ALL of the Mosaic Law? | Col 2:16 | kalos | 2031
Do you also keep all the dietary laws, the new moons, festivals, 20 percent tithe (look it up in the Mosaic Law -- the tithe Israel paid anually was much closer to 20 percent than 10), the command to stone a child who is continually rebellious, the blood sacrifices and all the rest of the ceremonial law contained in the Law of Moses?
3 | Do you keep ALL of the Mosaic Law? | Col 2:16 | Rayteck | 2043
You do error my friend. The Sabbath was not a Mosaic law. But Part of the ten commandments written by the finger of God in stone. All of the other ordinances and laws were through Moses written Through them. Why do you think He wrote them in Stone. Think about it.
4 | Do you keep ALL of the Mosaic Law? | Col 2:16 | kalos | 2046
You do err. (And the verb is err, not error.) To say that the 10 Commandments are NOT part of the Mosaic Law is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. Whether written by the finger of God or by the hand of Moses, every word of the Pentateuch was verbally inspired by God Himself.
5 | Do you keep ALL of the Mosaic Law? | Col 2:16 | oscar2 | 31204
I do agree that to say error is to err. To point it out in the mid of a conversation as you did is not what we can expect from a Christian. That person that wrote error, instead of err, maybe speaks more languages that you ever did, and is writing very well for a language that is not his mother's tongue. He can solve the err using a Spell checker and that takes few seconds, can you be nicer in such a short term? Two are the laws. The Ceremonial Law and the Law of God, and you know that very well. The ceremonial law is abolished, but not the Law of God, where did you study your theology? God Himself inspired all the Pentateuch, but even so, these two laws had different categories, and Mosses order to put the ceremonial Law not in the arc but besides the arc, that is the temporary law, the Eternal Law was in the arc of the covenant, inside to be kept forever. God Bless you Oscar Oscar |
